Parkside Topping-Out Ceremony Marks Major Milestone for Fulton & Fifth

‎‎
A significant milestone has been reached in the development of Fulton & Fifth, with the tallest of the five blocks, Parkside, achieving structural completion. Marked by a topping-out ceremony, the 28-storey tower now stands as one of the tallest residential buildings in the London Borough of Brent, cementing its status as a landmark on the Wembley Park skyline.

Representatives from the development team came together to celebrate this key achievement for Fulton & Fifth, an ambitious residential project comprising 876 homes. Set to include independent cafés, workspaces, and biodiverse green spaces such as a linear park, the development promises to deliver a dynamic new community. Residents will enjoy private outdoor spaces and access to 5-star amenities, inspired by the vibrant sports and wellbeing culture in the area. In 2023, Brent Council purchased 294 homes – approximately 40% of the scheme – to offer as affordable housing for local households.

Parkside’s completion is a crucial step forward in realising this vision, with the building designed to provide contemporary apartments that cater to the needs of modern city living.

With 876 homes and over 33,000 square feet of commercial space, Fulton & Fifth represents a transformative addition to Wembley Park. The project has embraced innovative off-site manufacturing techniques for the structure, building envelope, bathroom pods, and utility cupboards. This approach has helped mitigate risks, manage labour shortages, and maintain high standards of quality throughout construction.

Off-site construction offers clear advantages, including greater programme certainty, enhanced quality control, and reduced environmental impact. By minimising waste and shielding the project from weather-related delays and fluctuating labour efficiency, Regal is championing a more sustainable and efficient construction model.

Damien Cartmell, Managing Director for Construction at Regal, commented:
“Today’s topping out of Parkside at Fulton & Fifth is a proud moment for everyone involved. This milestone represents months of hard work, collaboration, and dedication to creating a building that embodies quality and innovation. Parkside not only adds to the architectural landscape of Wembley Park but also contributes to Brent’s growing reputation as a destination for exceptional living.”

With structural works now complete, attention turns to the next phases of construction, including the completion of the first blocks, which are due in Spring 2025. Parkside itself is on track for completion in Q4 2025, with the first residents expected to move in shortly thereafter.

Fulton & Fifth is part of the ongoing transformation of Wembley Park, a vibrant hub for culture, entertainment, and connectivity. This ambitious development reflects Regal’s commitment to delivering high-quality housing and elevating the overall living experience in one of London’s most dynamic neighbourhoods.
